Lauren Shearman, Ph.D., is currently the Worldwide Business Development Search and Evaluation Team Leader at Pfizer, where they lead the assessment of late preclinical, clinical, and commercial stage assets in Internal Medicine. Previously, Lauren held multiple leadership roles at Merck, including Executive Director of Strategic Licensing & Acquisitions and Scientific Liaison for Diabetes & Endocrinology. They also served as an Instructor in Pediatrics at Harvard Medical School, focusing on circadian biology research. Lauren completed a Bachelor’s degree in Biological Sciences from Mount Holyoke College, followed by a Ph.D. in Neuroscience and Behavior from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst.
