Matthew Russo

Matthew Russo is a Principal Scientist at Pfizer, where they currently contribute to the Leukocyte Tissue Interface Group. Previously, they held roles as a Senior Scientist, Associate Research Scientist, and Postdoctoral Fellow at Pfizer, focusing on molecular vectors and therapeutic antibodies. Matthew's academic background includes a PhD in Cell/Cellular and Molecular Biology from The Johns Hopkins University and a BS in Biology from Northeastern University. They gained research experience as a Research Assistant at Children's Hospital Boston and Acceleron Pharma, and completed their PhD research at the National Institutes of Health, investigating myeloid cells in the context of traumatic brain injury and viral infection.
