Megan Kaneda

Director

Megan Kaneda is an accomplished researcher with extensive experience in the biomedical field, currently serving as a Director at Pfizer since September 2017, where prior roles included Associate Research Fellow, Senior Principal Scientist, and Principal Scientist. Megan's research has focused on the interactions between innate immune cells and the tumor microenvironment, emphasizing innovative approaches to modify signaling pathways for disease intervention. Prior to Pfizer, experience included an Assistant Project Scientist role at the University of California San Diego, where research centered on innate immune cell signaling, as well as postdoctoral fellowships at the University of California San Diego and the Proteogenomics Research Institute for Systems Medicine, investigating aspects such as PI3Kgamma signaling and drug delivery mechanisms using murine tumor models. Megan holds a PhD in Bioengineering and Biomedical Engineering from Washington University in St. Louis and a BS in the same field from Tulane University.
