Melissa Miller has extensive experience in research and leadership within the field of biology and genetics. Since March 2019, Melissa has held positions at Pfizer as Senior Director and Head of Integrative Biology in the Internal Medicine Research Unit, as well as Senior Director and Director of Human Genetics. Previously, Melissa worked as a Post-doctoral Research Fellow at The Hospital for Sick Children focusing on genetic modifiers in pancreatic damage related to Cystic Fibrosis. At the University of Colorado Denver, Melissa served as a Research Fellow and Professional Research Assistant, investigating the connections between free fatty acids, insulin resistance, and adiposity. Melissa earned a Doctor of Philosophy in Epidemiology from the University of Colorado Anschutz and a Bachelor of Arts in Biology from Pomona College.
