Michael Bolt, PhD, DABT, is currently the Toxicology Disease Area Lead for Vertex Cell and Genetic Therapies. They have extensive experience in drug safety, having worked at Pfizer from 2016 to 2022, where they held roles such as Research Fellow and Principal Research Scientist. Michael earned a BScH in Life Sciences and a PhD in Pharmacology and Toxicology from Queen's University. They are recognized as a Board Certified Toxicologist with a strong background in the development of biologics, vaccines, and small molecule pharmaceuticals.
