Michael Dowzicky, M.S., MT ASCP, graduated from Thomas Jefferson University with a Master of Science degree in Clinical Microbiology in 1989. They held various significant positions at Rhone Poulenc Rorer/Aventis and Wyeth Pharmaceuticals before joining Pfizer in 2009 as a Senior Scientific Director in the infectious disease group within the Global Medical Affairs division. In this role, Michael is responsible for implementing and managing the Global surveillance (ATLAS) program, focusing on building and analyzing surveillance systems worldwide, particularly in developing countries. A passionate Philadelphia Eagles fan, Michael enjoys attending games at Lincoln Financial Field in the fall.
