Mieke Geens

Mieke Geens is an Analytical Tech Transfer Lead at Pfizer, focusing on human pluripotent stem cells with an emphasis on their differentiation potential and possible malignancy. Mieke graduated with high distinction in Biomedical Sciences from Vrije Universiteit Brussel in 2005 and earned a PhD in Medical Sciences there in 2010. Following a post-doctoral research position, Mieke worked as an Assistant Professor and served as an elected member of the Faculty Council at the same institution. Mieke is also recognized for their strong teamwork and project management skills, as well as their background as an ex-international athlete in middle-distance and cross-country running.
