Monica Bertoia

Monica Bertoia is currently the Director of Epidemiology in Safety Surveillance Research at Pfizer, a role they have held since 2023. Previously, Monica served as a Senior Scientist at Optum and held several positions in academia, including Postdoctoral Fellow and Instructor in Medicine at Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health. Their educational background includes a Ph.D. in Epidemiology from Brown University and a Master of Public Health from Yale School of Public Health. Monica also coordinated projects at Cornell University and contributed as an Adjunct Faculty Instructor at Simmons University.
