Muhammad Younus

Muhammad Younus is currently a Unit Lead in Safety Surveillance Research at Pfizer, where they supervise a team of scientists to develop pharmacoepidemiology and real-world evidence strategies that inform benefit-risk decisions in accordance with regulatory frameworks. They previously held various roles at Pfizer, including Senior Director and Director of Epidemiology. Muhammad's academic journey includes a Ph.D. and MS in Epidemiology from Michigan State University, alongside an MD from Dow University of Health Sciences, and training as a Research Officer in Epidemiology and Biostatistics at The Aga Khan University. Prior to their tenure at Pfizer, they served as a Research Assistant at Michigan State University from 2003 to 2008.
