Neil Dawson

Neil Dawson is a Senior Principal Scientist at Pfizer, where they lead formulation and process development projects, overseeing the transition of drug products from Phase 1 clinical trials to commercial launch. With extensive experience as a materials scientist, they have contributed significantly to the characterisation of physical and mechanical properties of powders, ensuring the efficacy and manufacturability of solid oral and inhaled dosage forms. Previously, they held various roles at Pfizer, including Principal Scientist and Research Scientist, where they specialized in particle size analysis and the development of analytical methods for active pharmaceutical ingredients. Neil earned a BSc with Honors in Chemistry and Analytical Chemistry from Northumbria University.
