Peter Kirwan

Peter Kirwan is a Senior Analytical Scientist at Pfizer, bringing over 18 years of experience in academia and industry. They have extensive expertise in molecular biology, next-gen sequencing, cell biology, and neuroscience, along with a strong background in teaching and mentoring. Peter previously held positions as a Principal Scientist at Talisman Therapeutics Limited and a Postdoctoral Research Associate at the University of Cambridge, where they focused on modeling obesity using hPSC-derived hypothalamic neurons. Peter earned a PhD in Neuroscience and a Master’s in Developmental Biology from the University of Cambridge, along with a Bachelor’s in Human Genetics from Trinity College, Dublin.
