Pieter Jacobs

Pieter Jacobs is an experienced engineering professional currently serving as a Production Support Engineer and Project Engineer at Pfizer since December 2020. Prior to this role, Pieter worked as a Project Engineer at Group-IPS from January 2018 to November 2020. Pieter's academic background includes a Postdoctoral Researcher position at KU Leuven from August 2012 to December 2017, where research focused on the structure-function relationship of subaleurone proteins, alongside supervising PhD students and managing laboratory ICT responsibilities. Earlier research as a Doctor involved studying the impact of wheat bran fortification on industrial bread making, leading research projects, and co-organizing conferences. Pieter earned a Master of Science in Bio-ingenieurswetenschappen from KU Leuven between 2007 and 2012.
