Rene Lopez

Rene Lopez has extensive experience in clinical research and operations, having held various leadership roles at prominent organizations. Rene's career began at the University of Connecticut Health Center as a Data and Grant Manager from 1994 to 2000, followed by an Executive Administrator and Adjunct Assistant Professor position at New York University until 2005. Rene then worked at Bristol-Myers Squibb as a Clinical Site Manager from 2005 to 2007. Afterward, Rene joined Pfizer, where tenure included multiple director-level roles in early clinical development and strategy, culminating in the role of Clinical Lead for the Clinical Research Collaboration Center of Excellence starting in April 2023. Education includes a BA in Biology from the University of Rhode Island and a Master's in Public Health with a focus on Epidemiology and Healthcare Administration from the University of Connecticut.
