Robert D. Williams

Robert D. Williams is currently a Director in the Materials Science group at Pfizer in Groton, Connecticut, focusing on Drug Product Design within Pharmaceutical Sciences Small Molecule. They previously served as a Pharmaceutical Sciences Team Leader and were responsible for developing drug supply for early-phase clinical studies. Robert also held the position of Director of Materials Science, leading a team dedicated to API final form selection and characterization, and worked as an Analytical Chemist, developing methodologies for clinical candidates. They earned a Ph.D. in Physical Chemistry from Northwestern University and completed a post-doctoral fellowship in Bioinorganic Chemistry at Princeton University, following a B.S. in Chemistry from UCLA.
