Rubben Torella

Rubben Torella is currently a Senior Principal Research Scientist at Vertex Pharmaceuticals in Boston. Previously, Rubben held roles as a Principal Scientist at Pfizer, where they specialized in computational chemistry and supported medicinal chemistry teams in designing small molecules. Rubben earned a Ph.D. in Computational Chemistry from the University of Cambridge, where their main project focused on protein-DNA interactions. Additionally, Rubben completed a Research Fellowship at the National Research Council in Milan, Italy, studying protein-DNA interactions and FGF inhibitors.
