Ruth Sommese

Ruth Sommese is currently the Director of Cell Sciences & IM Pharmacology, where they focus on leveraging cellular and protein engineering to advance early discovery disease research across various therapeutic areas. They previously held roles at Pfizer, including Senior Principal Scientist and Principal Scientist, and were a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at both the University of Michigan Medical School and the University of Minnesota. Ruth's academic background includes a PhD from Stanford University, complemented by their experiences as a Graduate Researcher and Teaching Assistant at the same institution and as an undergraduate researcher at the University of Notre Dame.
