Ryan McGinnis

Ryan McGinnis is a digital health researcher and entrepreneur specializing in biomechanics, signal processing, and machine learning. Currently serving as an Associate Professor of Biomedical Engineering at Wake Forest University, they lead research initiatives and co-founded several companies, including PanicMechanic, an app designed to assist with panic attacks. Ryan has previously contributed to the development of the Biomedical Engineering program at the University of Vermont and has held positions as a scientific advisor for various organizations. They earned a PhD in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Michigan and have a strong background in developing technologies for health and performance assessment.
