Sam Billingham

Sam Billingham is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in the biopharmaceutical industry. Currently serving as Senior Director of Manufacturing Science & Technology at Pfizer since September 2015, Sam has previously held various directorial roles, including in biosimilars and biotechnology, at the same company. Prior experience includes serving as Director of Biologics Operational Excellence and Director of Global Biologics CMC Planning at Hospira from December 2008 to September 2015, as well as technical leadership at Bioline. Sam possesses a PhD in Biochemistry from The University of Sheffield and holds Six Sigma certifications, including a Black Belt and Lean Six Sigma Green Belt. Additional qualifications include leadership training from the Leaders Institute of South Australia and a BSc (Hons) in Biotechnology from the University of Westminster.
