Shayne Wierbowski

Shayne Wierbowski is a Senior Principal Machine Learning Scientist at Pfizer, where they focus on advanced machine learning methods for drug design. They are completing a PhD in Computational Biology at Cornell University, researching network and structural biology topics, particularly protein-protein interactions and the effects of missense mutations. Shayne has previously conducted research at the University of Pittsburgh and Princeton University, and has received recognition as an Outstanding Graduate Teaching Assistant during their tenure at Cornell. They hold multiple degrees from the University of Scranton, including a BA in Philosophy and BS degrees in Biochemistry, Cell and Molecular Biology, and Computer Science.
