Sherry Xiao

Sherry Xiao is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in medical evidence generation and epidemiology within the pharmaceutical and research sectors. Currently serving as a Medical Evidence Generation Asset Lead at Pfizer, Sherry has previously held significant roles in hematology oncology, global medical affairs, and as a director of global medical epidemiology, where responsibilities included designing epidemiology studies and evaluating real-world data sources. Prior to Pfizer, Sherry worked as a Senior Research Scientist at PatientsLikeMe and held various research and teaching positions at UMass Medical School and other esteemed institutions. Sherry holds an MD from Jilin University, a Ph.D. in Clinical and Population Health Research from UMass Medical School, and a Master of Public Health in Epidemiology from the University of Massachusetts Amherst.
