Shu Yang has extensive research experience in process modeling, artificial intelligence, optimization, and control systems. They served as a Research Assistant at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute from 2017 to 2022 and completed a PhD in Chemical Engineering there. They briefly worked as an AI Horizon Research Extern at IBM in 2021, where they developed a novel data-driven decision optimization method. Currently, Shu is a Senior Scientist at Pfizer, focusing on Manufacturing Intelligence. Shu also holds a Master of Science in Chemical Engineering from Rutgers University–New Brunswick and a Bachelor of Engineering in Materials Processing and Control from 华中科技大学.
