Sofie V. is the Lead Engineer Formulation at Pfizer, where they contribute to projects involving the sterile production of COVID-19 vaccines. Prior to this role, Sofie worked as a Consultant at pi life sciences consultancy and held various engineering positions, including Project Engineer for validation lab equipment and formulation projects at Pfizer. Sofie began their professional journey as a Quality Laboratory Technician at CRI Catalyst Company Belgium N.V. and has a Master’s degree in Industrial Sciences Chemistry from KU Leuven, graduating with distinction. Additionally, Sofie completed a specific training program for teachers at CVO Kisp.
