Steven Shen

Steven Shen, MD, PhD, has extensive experience in the medical and research fields, including roles as a Resident in Surgery and Internal Medicine at Fudan University and as an Assistant Station Director and Public Health Physician at the Shanghai Municipal Center for Disease Control, where responsibilities included developing public health initiatives and managing healthcare teams. Shen served as a Post-Doctoral Research Scientist at The University of British Columbia, focusing on translational research, project collaboration, and manuscript preparation. Additional positions include Consultant Scientist at Omnio Healer AB and Consultant at viDA Therapeutics Inc., where Shen engaged in strategic planning for preclinical studies. More recently, Shen held various roles at Pfizer, including Global Medical Director and Medical Advisor for Vaccines, and served as Medical Science Liaison at Merck, overseeing vaccine portfolios in Western Canada. Shen earned an MD in Community Health and Preventive Medicine from Fudan University and a PhD in Medical Science from Umeå University.
