Stina Urban is a highly motivated cellular immunologist with extensive experience in CD8 T cell immunology, viral infections, neuroimmunology, and immuno-oncology. Stina earned a Bachelor of Science in Microbiology from the University of Minnesota and went on to complete a PhD in Immunology and Virology at UMass Medical School, focusing on type I Interferon and CD8 T cell activation. Stina has served as a Postdoctoral Research Scholar at the University of Iowa, investigating the role of CD8 T cells in experimental cerebral malaria. More recently, Stina held positions as Senior Scientist and Principal Scientist at Pfizer, specializing in Translational Sciences, Immunopharmacology. Additionally, Stina was a recipient of the AAI Public Policy Fellowship in 2018-2019.
