Previously, they held positions as an infectious disease modeller and health economist at Public Health England, where they contributed to evidence-based public health policy development. Tendai completed their doctoral studies at Utrecht University, utilizing mathematical models and data analysis to explore T cell dynamics, and has also worked as a research associate at Imperial College London, enhancing access to TB screening services. In addition to their professional roles, Tendai is a STEM ambassador and mentor, actively supporting the next generation in the field.
