Thomas Hong

Thomas Hong is a Scientist and Senior Associate Scientist at Pfizer since August 2021, with extensive academic experience as an Adjunct Professor and Graduate Research Assistant at the University of New Haven since November 2017. In this role, Thomas has contributed to various chemistry courses by assisting students with laboratory procedures, grading, and providing office hours. Additional experience includes work as a Professional Tutor and CRLA-certified academic assistant at the Center for Learning Resources, where support in chemistry, physics, and chemical engineering has been delivered. Thomas has also served as a Contract Chemist and Chemical Process Optimization Intern at Synovel Laboratory, LLC. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Chemistry with a focus on Drug Discovery, and dual Bachelor of Science degrees in Chemical Engineering and Forensic Science with a concentration in Chemistry, all obtained from the University of New Haven.
