Thomas Phelan is currently an mRNA process development scientist at Pfizer. They completed their PhD in Clinical Medicine at Trinity College Dublin, where their research focused on developing a novel viral-derived therapeutic for inflammation. Prior to their current role, Thomas worked as a research assistant, contributing to the development of a cost-effective serological assay for COVID-19 antibodies. Thomas also holds a Bachelor's degree in General Science and a Master's degree in Immunology and Global Health from Maynooth University, alongside a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the Dublin Institute of Technology.
