Tom Adkins

Tom Adkins is an accomplished professional in the field of chemical engineering with extensive experience in API (Active Pharmaceutical Ingredient) engineering and project management. Currently serving as Sr. Manager and Group Leader at Pfizer since December 2012, Tom manages the API Compliance and Strategy team and has previously overseen various operations at the Kalamazoo API facility. Prior to Pfizer, Tom held positions at Ricerca Biosciences, where responsibilities included managing scale-up projects from lab to plant scale, and at Ash Stevens Inc., where Tom supported facility expansions and process improvements. Additional experience includes roles at Great Lakes Chemical Corporation, focusing on specialty and fine chemical development, and at Vista Chemical, involved in ethylene production operations. Tom holds an MS in Organic Chemistry from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and a BS in Chemical Engineering from Purdue University.
