Yi-Chieh "EJ" Perng has extensive experience in biomedical research and clinical roles. Starting as an undergraduate research student at National Taiwan University and the National Health Research Institute, Yi-Chieh developed skills in cell culture techniques, monoclonal antibody development, and cancer research. Following mandatory military service as a medical officer, Yi-Chieh advanced to positions at Pfizer, becoming a Principal Scientist after serving as a Senior Scientist, focusing on bioassay development. Previous academic roles include a Postdoctoral Research Associate at Washington University School of Medicine, where Yi-Chieh investigated immune receptor signaling and drug repurposing for viral infections. Education was completed at Washington University in St. Louis School of Medicine from 2007 to 2014.
