Ying Wang

Ying Wang has extensive work experience in various roles within the pharmaceutical and research industries. Currently, they are an Associate Research Fellow and Group Lead at Pfizer since 2022. Before that, they worked at Pfizer as a Senior Principal Scientist and Group Lead from 2017 to 2022. Prior to joining Pfizer, they were an Associate Director of Bioanalysis at inVentivHealth Clinical from 2014 to 2017. Ying also worked as a Principal Investigator at Covance Laboratories Inc. from 2010 to 2014 and as a Senior Method Development Scientist at Covance Laboratories from April 2010 to December 2010. Earlier in their career, they served as an Associate Scientific Director at CIRON Biopharma Research Inc. from 2005 to 2009 and as a Project Manager/Study Director at CIRION BioPharma Research from 2001 to 2005. Ying began their career as a Postdoctoral Fellow at UCLA from 1998 to 2000.

Ying Wang holds a Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree in Medicine from Shanghai Second Medical University, Shanghai, China, which was obtained from 1979 to 1984. Following that, Ying pursued a Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in Endocrinology from the Institute of Endocrinology, Shanghai Second Medical University, Shanghai, China, from 1988 to 1991. Lastly, Ying completed a Ph.D in Biochemistry, Cellular Biology, and Oncology from McGill University, from 1993 to 1998.
