Tim Moran has a diverse work experience spanning over several decades. Tim started their career in 1988 at CMP Media and United Business Media, where they held roles as an Editor in Chief for various publications. In 2008, Tim started their own consultancy specializing in online/print editorial consulting in the tech and careers field.
From 2010 to 2017, Tim worked at Adobe Systems as an Editor in Chief for CMO.com. Tim then joined Palo Alto Networks in 2017 as an Editor In Chief/Publisher, where they supported the company's mission. However, they left in 2018 due to capacity constraints.
Tim then served as the VP of Editorial & Digital Content at UpWell Health from 2018 to 2019, where they played a crucial role in kickstarting the company's transformation. Following that, they worked as a Consulting Editor in Chief at their own consultancy from 2019 to 2020.
In 2020, Tim joined Protegrity as a Senior Director for Branding & Content, and in 2021, they became the Vice President of Brand at PFL.com.

Tim Moran earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in English from LIU Post, where they attended from 1972 to 1977. Tim then pursued further education and obtained a Master of Arts degree in Liberal Studies, with a focus on English and Writing, from Stony Brook University from 2009 to 2012.
