Amanda Yates

Amanda Yates has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and companies. Amanda is currently the Director of Brand Experience at PGAV Destinations, a position they have held since September 2021. Prior to this, they worked at PGAV Destinations as a Lead Designer in Brand Experience from October 2017 to September 2021, and as a Designer from October 2010 to September 2017.

In addition to their roles at PGAV Destinations, Amanda also worked as an Adjunct Lecturer in Environmental Graphic Design at Washington University in St. Louis from January 2018 to May 2018. Amanda designed and taught a course on the role of environmental graphic design in creating a sense of place.

Before their time at Washington University, Amanda worked as a Design Research Assistant on a National Cancer Institute Grant at the university from September 2009 to June 2010. Amanda also served as a Graphic Design Intern at Spoke Marketing from June 2009 to August 2009, where they worked on various design projects for non-profit organizations and a start-up company.

Amanda's earliest work experience was as the Promotions Director at KWUR 90.3 FM from August 2008 to May 2009. In addition to overseeing the station's promotional materials, they were also a radio DJ for a folk, blues, and bluegrass show.

Overall, Amanda Yates has a strong background in design, branding, and teaching, with experience in both corporate and academic settings.

Amanda Yates attended Washington University in St. Louis from 2006 to 2010, where they obtained a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) degree in Communication Design.
