Corey Swartz

Corey Swartz is an experienced engineer currently serving as a Power Generation Associate Project Engineer specializing in Dam Safety at Pacific Gas and Electric Company since October 2025. Prior to this role, Corey worked as a Water Resources Engineer for the California Department of Water Resources, focusing on the operational maintenance of multiple dams and power plants. Corey's experience includes designing and maintaining infrastructure for the U.S. Forest Service, as well as an engineering internship at Seqouia Engineering and earlier positions in carpentry and project management. Corey holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from California State University, Chico, and has a background in the U.S. Navy as a Mineman 1st class.
