Daniel Hashimi

Daniel Hashimi is an accomplished legal professional with extensive experience in various roles within public utilities and engineering sectors. Currently serving as Senior Counsel at Pacific Gas and Electric Company since January 2021, Daniel previously held the position of Senior Assistant General Counsel at the Southern California Public Power Authority from August 2011 to January 2021, providing legal counsel and strategic advice to the Authority's Board and management. Prior to this, Daniel worked as Assistant General Counsel at the Los Angeles Department of Water and Power and as an Electrical Project Engineer, managing large-scale power projects. Daniel's career began as a Transportation Engineer for the City of Los Angeles. Educational credentials include a Juris Doctor from Southwestern Law School, alongside executive programs at the University of California, Berkeley and University of California, Davis, and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from California State University, Northridge.
