Daniel Lira is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS) operations and emergency services. Currently serving as a Senior UAS Pilot at Pacific Gas and Electric Company since October 2021, Lira previously held the position of UAS Pilot and Team Lead at Valmont Industries, Inc., from March 2021 to October 2021. Lira's earlier career includes work as a UAS Pilot at R.E.Y. Engineers, Inc., as well as roles as a Firefighter/EMT with the California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection (CAL FIRE) and Sacramento International Airport from 1994 to 1998. Lira has pursued further education at Butte College and UC Davis Continuing and Professional Education.
