Dave Thurston

Dave Thurston is a retired Senior Plant Engineer who has dedicated much of their career to optimizing power generation processes. They hold a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Stanford University, obtained in 1980. Throughout their career, they have worked at prominent companies such as Pacific Gas and Electric Company and Ameren, where they provided technical support and led programs focused on improving plant performance and reliability. Currently, they serve as a Senior Plant Engineer at Pacific Gas and Electric Company, where they oversee engineering services at the Gateway Generating Station in Antioch, California. Dave's expertise lies in thermodynamic analysis and operational optimization in both nuclear and fossil power plants.
