David Xu

David Xu is an experienced engineering professional currently serving as an Integrity Management Engineer in the Gas Operation R&D and Innovation department at Pacific Gas and Electric Company since 2016. In addition to this role, David has also contributed as an Adjunct Faculty member at Ohlone College, teaching engineering mechanics. Prior experience includes management and consulting positions at Palmaz Scientific, Vactronix Scientific, and FormFactor, as well as various engineering roles at Litrex, Timbre Technologies, Lightwaves 2020, and Applied Materials. David holds a Ph.D. in Mechanical/Materials Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley, along with a Certificate in Management of Technology from the Haas School of Business and a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the New Jersey Institute of Technology. An undergraduate degree in Materials Sciences and Welding Engineering was obtained from Shanghai Jiao Tong University.
