Derek Prado

Derek Prado is currently a Supervisor at Diablo Canyon Power Plant, where they oversee the maintenance and administration of stringent chemistry and radiological controls across various nuclear platforms. With experience as a Lead Engineering Laboratory Technician in the US Navy from 2010 to 2020 and roles on the USS ASHEVILLE, Derek has developed strong skills in trend analysis and program administration. They hold a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry from Arizona State University, earned between 2021 and 2023, as well as a prior degree in Biochemistry from Reedley College, completed from 2005 to 2008.
