Jeff Asay

Jeff Asay is a legal professional with extensive experience in energy law and utility operations. As of June 2024, Jeff serves as Counsel at Pacific Gas and Electric Company, focusing on regulatory proceedings and transactional support within the Strategy and Policy Group. Prior roles include Associate Attorney at both Sheppard Mullin Richter & Hampton LLP and Winston & Strawn LLP, where Jeff specialized in energy law, as well as Judicial Law Clerk at the California Public Utilities Commission. Earlier experience includes a Law Clerk position at Fragomen, Del Rey, Bernsen & Loewy, and a Research Assistant role at UCLA School of Law. Jeff holds a Juris Doctor (J.D.) from the University of California, Los Angeles, and a Bachelor’s Degree from Brigham Young University.
