John Burniston is a seasoned civil and structural engineer with extensive experience in the oil, gas, and chemical industries. Starting as an Engineer-in-Training at Albert-Garaudy and Associates, now known as HFG Engineering US, John played a pivotal role in designing offshore production platforms. Over a decade at El Paso Corporation, John advanced to the role of Principal Civil/Structural Engineer, leading the Plant Design Group and supervising mechanical, process, and civil engineers. John further contributed to the field as a Natural Gas Project Engineer at Kinder Morgan and currently serves as a Principal Consulting Gas Transmission Engineer at Pacific Gas and Electric Company, providing engineering and coordination support in natural gas transmission. John earned a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Tulane University.
