Marlene Murphy-Roach

Marlene Murphy-Roach is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in customer programs and strategic leadership within the utility sector. Currently serving as Senior Director of Customer Programs at Pacific Gas and Electric Company since July 2013, Marlene focuses on strategic planning and policy development for rates products and financial support programs, particularly in the context of California's transition to new rate structures. Previous roles include Director, where Marlene enhanced customer experience in disadvantaged communities, and Senior Manager overseeing operations in Fresno. Prior to Pacific Gas and Electric, Marlene held significant management positions at JEA, AT&T Universal Card Services, and SafeCard Services, emphasizing customer satisfaction, product development, and operational excellence. Marlene holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Management Studies from the University of the West Indies and is a graduate of the MLT Program.
