Michael Hurley

Michael Hurley is currently the Manager and Logistics Section Chief at the Emergency Operations Center for Pacific Gas and Electric Company, where they oversee logistical operations during emergencies for a utility serving over five million customers. Previously, Michael held significant leadership roles at FEMA, including overseeing federal disaster responses during the COVID-19 pandemic and contributing to major recovery efforts following Super Typhoon Yutu. With a military background in the United States Air Force and the U.S. Army, Michael has cultivated extensive experience in logistics, emergency management, and operations. Michael earned an MBA from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University and completed the Pacific Executive Leaders Program at the Naval Postgraduate School.
