Nathan Spidell is an experienced engineering professional with a background in gas system planning and risk assessment. Currently serving as Manager of Transmission Risk & Assessment Planning at Pacific Gas and Electric Company since September 2013, Nathan leads the Gas Asset Strategy & Integrated Scoping Team in identifying and implementing strategies to enhance the safety and efficiency of gas operations. Previous roles at Pacific Gas and Electric Company include Supervisor of Gas System Planning Engineering and Gas Transmission Hydraulics Planning Engineer, where Nathan oversaw specialized engineering teams and provided technical expertise in various gas planning initiatives. Prior to this, Nathan held positions at Dominion, contributing as a Planning Engineer and Gas Planning Technical Specialist, among others. Nathan holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from The University of Akron and a Master of Business Administration with a focus on Finance from Ashford University. Additional experiences include mentoring for the East Bay College Fund and tutoring at The University of Akron.
