Peter Buck, MBA, NERC-RC, possesses over 10 years of experience in grid operations, substation work, planning, and leadership. Currently, they serve as Chief of Staff for PG&E’s Transmission & Substation Operations, working alongside senior leadership to enhance operational initiatives through Lean principles and a focus on safety. Previously, Peter was a professional athlete for the Omaha Beef and Iowa Barnstormers and later transitioned to education as a high school teacher and coach before advancing in various engineering and operational roles within PG&E. They have consistently bridged the gap between field execution and executive strategy, driving effective change and performance improvements across diverse roles.
