Steve Carney

Steve Carney is a seasoned safety and security professional with extensive experience in managing and implementing safety programs across various organizations. Currently serving as a Field Safety Specialist at Pacific Gas and Electric Company, Steve oversees multiple Enterprise Health and Safety programs, collaborating with partners to enhance regional and public safety. Prior to this role, Steve was the Corporate Security Operations Manager at Trident Security Solutions, where expertise in deploying a comprehensive Uniformed Guard Program was demonstrated. With a long tenure at the Santa Cruz County Sheriff's Office, Steve retired as a Public Safety Officer after gaining significant experience in program development, training, and stakeholder communication. Education includes a High School Diploma from Marello Preparatory High School and coursework at Cabrillo College.
