Jelani Roper

Jelani Roper is the Vice President and Corporate Counsel at PGIM, where they provide legal counsel on U.S. and foreign issues related to marketing and asset management. With extensive experience in the asset management sector, Jelani has held various roles, including Chief Legal Officer for PGIM Global Partners, where they oversee legal support for international operations. Prior to their current position, Jelani worked as Vice President & Corporate Counsel at other PGIM entities, contributing to regulatory and compliance practices in asset management. Jelani began their legal career at Sutherland Asbill & Brennan LLP and holds a J.D. from Georgetown University Law Center, in addition to a B.A. from The College of William and Mary.
