Joseph Hsu

Joseph Hsu, CPA, currently serves as the Controller at PGIM since January 2024. Previously, Joseph held various leadership positions at Prudential Financial from October 2011 to December 2023, including Vice President & Controller for Retirement Strategies, where responsibilities encompassed consolidating financial results and key performance indicators, and Vice President & Deputy Controller for Individual Annuities, providing strategic reporting and analysis. Joseph's earlier roles included Director of Financial Reporting, overseeing the Annuities business reporting unit, and Manager of Financial Reporting, managing quarterly close processes and regulatory filings. Prior to Prudential, Joseph was a Manager in the Financial Services division at PwC, executing audits for large public insurance companies, and held a Tax Reporting Intern position at Merrill Lynch. Joseph earned a BBA in Accounting from Baruch College.
