Kathy Sayko leads PGIM’s Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) efforts, reporting directly to PGIM’s CEO. She and her team develop strategic inclusion initiatives, collaborate with PGIM’s Business Heads and HR Leads on recruiting and retention efforts, work with internal and external advocacy and affinity organizations, and partner with leaders in the investment industry to advance equity and inclusivity across the industry.
During her tenure leading DEI, Kathy established PGIM’s first Inclusion Council, comprised of the company’s seven CEOs with specific mandates for action in this space. Her team spearheaded PGIM’s first global programming and education series for International Women’s Day and Pride Month and in 2020 launched the Ron Andrew’s Diversity Scholarship.
Kathy has served on several profit and non-profit boards, including the YMCA of Greater New York. She is an active industry advocate for DEI and serves as an advisor to several industry organizations including Defined Contribution Institutional Investment Association (DCIIA), Investment Company Institute (ICI) and Urban Land Institute (ULI).
Before assuming her current role, Kathy served as a Managing Director on the Prudential Financial, Inc.'s (PFI) Client Management team, where she maintained relationships with Senior Executives at PFI’s largest clients and financial partners. Kathy was actively engaged in the PGIM Women’s Advisory Council and served on the Board of the company’s Asian Pacific Islander Americans (APA) BRG.
Prior to joining PFI in 2011, Kathy was with JPMorgan Chase for 17 years, most recently in their Diversified Investment Banking Coverage group. Prior to that, Kathy held leadership roles in JPM’s Debt Capital Markets, Acquisition Finance, and Loan Capital Markets businesses. She was deeply involved in talent and diversity efforts, including being one of the founding members of the JPM Women’s Efficacy Program.
Kathy holds an MBA in finance from New York University, Stern School of Business, and a BBA in computer science from James Madison University. She holds FINRA Series 7, 24, and 63 licenses.
