Matt Shafer

Matt Shafer is an accomplished finance professional with extensive experience in international distribution and sales management across various reputable firms. Currently serving as Head of International Distribution at PGIM since December 2022, Matt has previously held significant positions, including Head of IM EMEA at BNY Mellon and Executive Vice President, Head of International Distribution at Natixis Investment Managers. With a robust background in overseeing wholesale and retail sales in EMEA, Asia, and Latin America, Matt has excelled in leading experienced sales teams and driving fund distribution. Prior roles at Merrill Lynch, Bank of America, and TIAA-CREF highlight a strong track record in managing alternative investments, developing investment strategies, and cultivating relationships with financial advisors. Matt holds a B.A. in Economics from the University at Buffalo.
