Rakesh Malpani

Rakesh Malpani is an accomplished technology professional with extensive experience in software engineering and solutions architecture across various prestigious organizations. Currently serving as an Enterprise Solutions Architect at MarketAxess since August 2020, Rakesh specializes in building cloud-native and machine learning applications for the research and quant development team. Prior roles include Senior Software Engineer at AQR Capital Management, Sr. Consultant and Managing Director at Doran Jones Inc., and Associate Director at UBS, where Rakesh contributed to significant middleware and web service applications. Previous experiences include positions at NYSE, AgreeYa Solutions, Hexaware, Mentorix, and NCST, reflecting a solid foundation in both development and research. Rakesh holds a Master’s degree in Financial Mathematics from the University of Chicago, along with postgraduate and undergraduate degrees in IT and Mechanical Engineering, respectively.
